Greatham Parish Council (Hampshire)
Greatham Parish Council are seeking a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
Greatham is a village in the South Downs National Park and the council consists of 7 councillors. We hold monthly council meetings and ad hoc planning committee meetings. The council is very active and has a number of projects that we are keen for a new clerk to help us progress.
The role is varied and interesting and we are looking for someone who already has experience working for a parish or town council and is self-motivated with a flexible approach to their work.
The role will be for 12 hours per week, working from home, with attendance at 1-2 evening meetings per month.
We would like to appoint a CiLCA qualified clerk or a clerk with experience in the local council sector (we will expect you to start the qualification within 12 months of your employment).
Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour depending on qualifications/experience, plus £25 per month working from home allowance.
Other benefits: Holiday allowance of 25 days (pro-rata) per annum, mileage allowance (other than meeting attendance and other statutory duties), overtime paid where required.
